History of the West Paris Community
West Paris was set-off from Paris and incorporated in 1957.
West Paris in the nineteenth century was a center of Finnish immigrant settlement and many residents are descendants of those immigrants. We invite you to learn more about this by following the link
Finnish Society
The mission of the Finnish American Society of Maine is to educate and inform those interested in our Finnish culture, our history and our future. The Finnish Society meeting hall is located at 8 Maple St, West Paris, ME 04289.
