Public Hearing Notice

The Town of West Paris will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 at 5:00pm at the West Paris Town Office in the meeting room to discuss acceptance of a Public Infrastructure CDBG Grant. The purpose of the grant is to replace the current water storage reservoir and associated piping, replace a critical river crossing, and the transmission main from the reservoir to the river crossing to comply with a MDWP Administrative Order. The district will also seek to locate and develop a secondary water supply.  Public comments will be solicited at this Hearing and will be submitted as part of the Project Development Phase.  All persons wishing to make comments or ask questions about the acceptance of these funds are invited to attend this Public Hearing.  Comments may be submitted in writing to: Joy Downing, Town of West Paris, 25 Kingsbury Street, West Paris ME 04289 at any time prior to the Public Hearing.  TDD/TTY users may call 711.  If you are physically unable to access any of the Town’s programs or services, please call (207) 728-2701 so that accommodations can be made.
